Rapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your rapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store rapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.

What is Rapé (Hapé)?

Rapé snuff is a time-honored sacrament cherished by the tribes of the Amazon for centuries. This handcrafted preparation comprises dried, ground medicinal plants and tree ashes. Traditionally, rapé is administered via a unique bone or bamboo Kuripe pipe, blown directly into the nostrils.

Rapé's diverse formulations cater to a variety of uses and broadly fall into three categories: spiritual, healing, and fortifying. It is revered for its potent purifying and grounding properties, often employed to dispel negative energy, enhance concentration, and heighten consciousness. Menta is menthol not mint

Icy blades getting blown into your sinus cavity. That's what this scent is like. It does get smoother as you use it more, but it adds a sharpness to it that rape' doesn't need. The after effects are typical to Yawanawa, very strong. I'm just not into that "cool" icy feeling. I wasn't expecting it to be like that.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. While many of our customers enjoy the strong, cooling effect of our Menta blend, we recognize that for some, it can be overpowering.

We are actively working with the Yawanawá tribe to explore the use of a special mint called Huacatay in future batches. Huacatay is known for its smoother, more balanced minty flavor and aroma, with less of the intense menthol sensation. We believe this could provide a more enjoyable experience for those who find the current Menta blend too strong.
