In Brazilian spiritual tradition, the white rose — rosa branca — is one of the most revered ritual plants in Umbanda and Candomblé. Associated with Oxalá and Iemanjá, it is central to the banho de rosa branca (white rose bath), a practice used throughout Brazil for spiritual cleansing, clearing the aura, and creating sacred protected space.
